LID PLACERS

The HEISLER Lid Placers are designed to dispense, position and seal lids on filled containers. Our Lid Placers are available in models for plastic and metal containers, such as:

• Pails • Trays • Bins • Round • Cans • Buckets • Totes
• Square • Tubs • Crates • Oval • Rectangular • Kits

These machines come in fixed or adjustable models. For lids that require orienting, the Lid Placer can be equipped to orient a spout in relation to the handle.

Our Lid Placers can dispense up to 40 lids per minute. We have semi-automatic to fully automatic models available. Closer options include roller, traversing press, crimping, and screw-on. Please give us a call to discuss your particular needs.

For Small Container, Standard, and Large Container models, stacks of lids are placed and fed along a low level infeed conveyor to an elevator where they are lifted to the separating mechanism and fed down a chute above the pail/product conveyor. Lids are placed on the pails as they pass under the chute and move to the closer where metal lids are crimped and plastic pails are compressed or screwed for secure closure.

Small Container Lid Placer

This machine will dispense, position, and seal lids on containers 1 gallon or smaller.

Standard Lid Placer

This machine will dispense, position, and seal lids on containers 2 to 7.5 gallons.

Large Container Lid Placer

This machine will dispense, position, and seal lids on containers 7.5 gallons or larger.

For Adjustable and E-Series models, lids are loaded into a hopper. Stacks of lids are placed on the lid infeed above the pail/product conveyor. Lids are placed on the pails as the pass under the chute and move to the closer where metal lids are crimped and plastic pails are compressed or screwed on for secure closure.

Adjustable Lid Placer

This machine can place lids on multiple size containers of different height and width at speeds up to 40 containers per minute. If orientation is required, speed is reduced to 30 cpm.

E-Series Lid Placer

This machine is designed to provide a compact solution in a modular and economical package for your lid placing needs. It offers the same outstanding quality and durability as our high-speed machines to those users whose line speeds are usually not more than 10 containers per minute.

For the 55 Series Lid Placer, a stack of lids is placed in the vertical hopper. The hopper will automatically position the lids to the proper height for the vacuum pick up arm to retrieve a lid. For “stop & go” lid placement, the pail will be stopped on the conveyor, and the vacuum pick up arm will place the lid directly onto the pail. Once the lid is placed, the pail will be released. For “on the fly” lid placement the vacuum pick up arm will dispense the lid onto a chute. The pail, passing under the chute, will strip the lid from the chute.

55 Series Lid Placer

This new machine in our product line is designed to be compact and economical. It can place lids on containers at speeds of up to 15 lids per minute. Its flexible configuration provides many different solutions in a small package. This machine can be configured with only those features you need. Many standard options are available, as well as, custom designs.
