Our Semi-Automatic lid presses come in models
for both plastic and metal containers. A lid is placed on the container,
which has been manually positioned under the press plate or crimper. Two
buttons are then pressed simultaneously and a pneumatic cylinder activates
the press plate or the crimper to close the container. Releasing one or
both of the buttons, shifts the flow, causing the cylinder to retract.
Available options are stainless steel, castors, conveyor, and the ability
to close both plastic and metal lids on one machine.

It is adjustable to accommodate 2 to 7 gallon containers. It securely
compresses plastic lids onto pails, including all DOT specified pails.

Our Stand Alone closers are available in traversing press, roller closer, and screw-on models. All of our closers are adjustable to accommodate 2 to 7 gallon containers.

This fully automatic machine will seal plastic lids on containers at speeds up to 25 per minute. The pail moves with the compression section while the lid is securely compressed onto the container. Because of this unique design, the containers do not have to be stopped for closure. This ensures smooth movement with no spillage and the ability to close back to back containers.
Stand Alone Powered Roller

This semi-automatic machine requires an operator to position the lids onto the containers. The container then moves to the powered roller closer compression section where, by the angle and the height of the top rollers, the lid is securely compressed onto the pail. This machine will securely close both DOT and UN specific containers.

Pails with lids placed on them are slid onto the powered section of the infeed conveyor. The conveyor carries the pails under the screw closer. The pail is clamped while the screw closer moves down onto the lid. The lid is engaged to correctly align the lid/pail threads. Once the threads are engaged, the closer will screw the lid onto the pail until the tamperproof latches are engaged.
Our Bolt-On closers are available in traversing press and roller closer models. All of our closers are adjustable to accommodate 2 to 7 gallon containers.

This semi-automatic machine is designed to bolt onto an existing product conveyor. It operates exactly like the Stand Alone Powered Roller Closer described above. This machine will securely close both DOT and UN specified pails.
